Our kinks come from things like being abused, having identities forced upon us, and existing under oppressive systems. These things have influenced our attraction due to our experience with them, and as a result, we cannot extricate sex and romance from concepts such as violence and power. Because our kink is consensual, examined, and negotiated-for, we see nothing wrong with engaging in kinks that mirror but do not replicate abusive or oppressive structures in the everyday world.
A lot of our kinks have to do with gender and identity play, including forced gender kinks or eroticizing people's transition. A lot of this has to do with several experiences we had that would typically not be thought of as experiences had by people raised the way we were being raised, but that happened all the same.
A lot of our kinks also have to do with physical violence that goes beyond what is typical for sadomasochism as a kink. In particular, some of our writings eroticize murder, attemped or completed. We also have kinks that involve a simulated or actual (negotiated-for) lack of consent, e.g. CNC, intox, somno.
